AVP Sales/Business Development
Reporting to: Inside Sales Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with advisors, dealers and business partners
- Generate sales by identifying quality prospects and following up on referrals
- Deliver sales material and presentations by telephone and email
- Provide general sales support to brokerage/planning communities
- Work closely with VP Sales to raise assets within your territory
- Implement structured sales campaigns to advisors
- Create new growth opportunities with advisors through strategic business development
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the intricacies of company and industry products
- Manage and maintain the Client Relationship Management system (Maximizer).
- Consistently achieve an average of 50 outbound calls per day
Requirements:
- Fluency in English
- Completion of CSC
- University Degree or equivalent
- Thorough knowledge of mutual funds/ investment products and related services
- Exceptional telephone and listening skills
- Ability to work as a team as well as individually
- Previous work experience in financial services or fund industry is preferred
- Well organized, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively
- Must have high energy level, with a 'can do' attitude to succeed
