Reporting to: Managing Director, Products

Primary Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze market data and product trends to assist in new product initiatives.
• Assist product development team with structuring process and preparation of product launches.
• Prepare periodic publications for client distribution.
• Assist salespeople with detailed product analysis and presentations.
• Collect competitive intelligence with the purpose of maintaining a database of Canadian structured products.

Requirements:

• At lest 2 years financial services experience.
• Strong knowledge of retail investment products and mutual funds, ideally with experience in structured products and real estate investment trusts (REITs).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with an ability to work in a relatively unsupervised environment and interact with other departments.
• Excellent time management skills, with a willingness to work long hours.
• Initiative and a strong sense of professionalism.
• Must have a high proficiency level with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Post secondary education in Business, Finance or a related field.
• Completion or progression towards completing CFA is an asset.
